My thing is this – regardless of your role in the project team, you can influence discussions, decisions and outcomes through having a deeper understanding of the behavior of those around you.
By understanding the behavior of the people across our project, we can actively steer discussions and influence our key decisions.
I touch on Robert Cialdini’s seminal work (“Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion”, 1984) to talk about how we can exercise influence by applying 6 principles of human behavioral patterns.
